my name is kara and here is just a few things about me...
- i'm from philadelphia, pa but currently live near seattle, wa. yes, it's rainy!
- i am a social worker, which (like all jobs) tends to get stressful! creativity is my de-stressor and this blog helps to me express that side of myself and has quickly become a fun hobby.
- my husband's name is luke. he is awesome and we got married in march 2013, after a long, long distance relationship that included 12 months apart while he was deployed. you can read more about our story and see some highlights from our wedding here.
- i'm a christian and believe that my worth and value can only be found in Christ. i am so grateful for his amazing grace and the many, many blessings he bestows on me each day.
